Weekly Dispatches......4 August 2017

Well I have spent the week in Canberra helping my husband settle into the new home down here. No, I am not relocating but my husband has been working in Canberra and staying with friends Monday to Friday for the last 18 months and we figured that now that he has a permanent job instead of a contract it was time to make  a more permanent arrangement.  It also means the the dogs can come down with me when I come and that saves on kennel fees.   It is a bit of a hoot as the house is virtually empty and I had to go buy a saucepan to make soup the other day! Can't rush these things.

Have managed to squeeze in a few things for Aussie Heroes but nothing I can really tell you about yet.  You will have to wait til the dinner.  It is nearly time to pay... watch for a post this weekend!

Off to Beccy Cole tonight which is a nice surprise as my husband is not the biggest fan of country music.

Enough from me.... enjoy the show, some great quilts and laundry bags headed off this week.

So far for 2017 we have sent off 1869 laundry bags

which brings us to a total of 14926 since we started...

and...

We have also sent 1108 quilts

bringing our total since we started to over 7,751 quilts
