We were mentioned in Despatches...... Darwin Despatches.... :-)

Hi all

The lastest HMAS Darwin Newsletter is out.  It is called Darwin Despatches and if you have sewn for HMAS Darwin you are welcome to email me to ask for a copy to be emailed to you. 

I thought all of you would like to know that we have our only little mention in the message from the Commanding Officer, CMDR Phillip Henry.

Before you read on though, on behalf of all from Aussie Hero Quilts, I want to extend congratulations to CMDR Phillip Henry, LCDR Tina Brown and CPO Andrew Sims who were all recognised in the Queens Birthday Honours list recently. 

Nice to know that we are appreciated!
