Looking after those that look after others......

Recently we surprised the Chaplains on the latest Chaplaincy Course with personalised laundry bags.  I believe it is very important that we look after those that look after others and as well, this is a good way of introducing them to the work we do.

The chaplains are often my conduit to many of the troops and so the sooner we give them a taste of Aussie Heroes the better they will know what they are seeing when they travel around and see the evidence of our work on beds and in laundries.

I have just received this photo and accompanying message this morning, on the last day of the course.
.....

Many thanks to Jan-Maree Ball and the volunteers of Aussie Hero Quilts who have diligently sewn beautiful individualised laundry bags for all of the chaplains and staff who participated in the Chaplains Initial Course (mod 1). As they go out to serve, they will always be reminded of your commitment and support of them.

Till next time.... keep spreading the word and happy stitching!
